In its altruistic efforts to help the disabled, Dijaya Tropicana Foundation donated daily provisions totalling RM5,000 to Beautiful Gate Foundation.
Among the items donated were water filter, hot water dispenser, medical aids, baby and adult diapers, vitamins, shower products and balloons. Since 1993, Beautiful Gate centres have been set up across the country to provide accommodation, training and various other services to the disabled in need. In 2003, Beautiful Gate centres were recognised by the government and subsequently registered as the Beautiful Gate Foundation for the Disabled. Dijaya Tropicana Foundation pledged its support to this noble cause of enhancing the quality of life of people with disabilities as well as assisting in their total integration into mainstream Malaysian society.
