| Dijaya to unveil two townships this year

Dijaya Corporation Bhd is planning to launch two new freehold townships in the southern part of Klang Valley this year.
The two projects, which are targeted at the middle to upper income group, will have a combined gross development value (GDV) of more than RM500 million, said Datuk Tong Kien Ong, Managing Director of Dijaya Corporation Bhd, whose flagship Tropicana Golf and Country Resort is almost fully completed.
The Tropicana Sg Long, a township project located in Taman Rakan in Chera, is due for launch in the second quarter. The first launch will feature semi-detached homes and zero-lot bungalows.
The guarded development, which will be developed over two phases in four years, will offer three-generational homes including three-storey zero-lots, three-storey semi-Ds, three-storey superlink homes and apartments on a 26.8 acre site. |
“The semi-Ds, zero-lots, bungalows and superlink homes are middle-upper-end developments. We do have an apartment component of 180 units but that will be in the later phases. The whole project will have a GDV of RM180 million to RM200 million,” said Mr. Tong.
Meanwhile, the first phase of the company’s mixed residential project in Balakong, tentatively called Tropicana Bayou, will be launched by the second half of the year.
Covering 12 acres, the first phase will comprise 90 units of three-storey residential units.The entire project is set to be developed in three to four phases over seven to eight years. |
