Tropicana Gardens
Tropicana Gardens @ Tropicana Indah Resort Homes

Dijaya will build two more lifestyle commercial centres for its award-winning Tropicana Golf & Country Resort and its adjacent Tropicana Indah Resort Homes (formerly known as Damansara Indah Resort Homes). These modern lifestyle centres will complement and "liven" up the resort ambience of the two developments.

Tropicana Gardens is the bigger development and would cover 14-acre of land in Tropicana Indah Resort Homes (formerly known as Damansara Indah Resort Homes). This commercial centre would have a pedestrian mall in the middle, lined with palm trees to exude a tropical resort feel. SOHOs (small office home office) with an underground traffic system will be one of the unique feature for this development.

NKVE Tunnel
Good news to the residents of Tropicana Golf & Country Resort and Tropicana Indah Resort Homes.

The new second NKVE tunnel project to Tropicana Golf & Country Resort and Tropicana Indah Resort Homes at Persiaran Tropicana was completed and opened to the public around end of July 2009. The opening of the second tunnel will definitely improve the traffic flow of the surrounding area.

Both tunnels are used to gain access to and from Tropicana, Tropicana Indah Resort Homes (formerly known as Damansara Indah Resort Homes), Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP), Bandar Utama (BU 11) and Bukit Mayang Mas.

According to Datuk Bandar of Petaling Jaya City Council or Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ) Mohamad Roslan Sakiman and consulting engineers from Zaidun-Leeng Sdn Bhd Anuar Mohd Idris, the second tunnel will be able to cope with flood or stagnant water as it is built with the anti-flood system; using pipes and special drains to disperse the trapped or stagnant water during heavy downpour.

The contactor responsible of building this project, Majulia Sdn Bhd also added that the project was delayed due to various problems particularly the technical issues relating to the design and building techniques of the tunnel.
